Alejandro Mata, Director Europe Packaging and Graphic Papers. He is responsible for the European economic analysis team. He leads client support and analytics for Fastmarkets European graphics and packaging paper segments, including analysis on industry supply/demand balances, trade dynamics and cost/price developments, forecasting and econometric modelling. He is a frequent presenter at industry events, has led multiple packaging & graphic paper conversion studies and is currently the author of the graphics 5-year and 15-year forecast and monthly monitors (Paper Trader Europe).

Previously, Alejandro worked in business and market intelligence functions for one of Europe’s leading paper producers and has been analyzing and forecasting the industry since 2009. He has a bachelor´s degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the Solvay Business School of Economics and Management in Brussels.
